The Serra Clubs of the Allentown diocese will host an annual Day of Prayer for Vocations on Saturday, May 6th at Saint Mary’s in Kutztown. The day begins with registration and continental breakfast from 8:15 to 9 AM followed by a Holy Hour with the Rosary for Vocations and chanted Divine Mercy Chaplet and Benediction with Monsignor Scheaffer. Come and experience the joy and peace of the Risen Lord that awaits in Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament! There are two awesome conferences this year- Father Lucien Longtin, SJ, who celebrated his 50th jubilee as a priest in 2015 will share his vocation story with us, and Father Jose Kumblolickal MSFS, who has served as a Provincial Superior and is currently visiting professor of theology at DeSales University will reflect on his experiences. This is a wonderful opportunity for all to "put out into deeper water" and learn more about our faith from two heroic Priests! A catered lunch is provided and after a period for personal prayer and reflection, Monsignor Schlert will celebrate Mass at 1:15. Please come and join us in asking the Lord of the Harvest to send laborers into His harvest- our Church and our world are in great need of them! Offering for the day is just $20; to reserve your spot please send your check payable to "Serra District 80-1" to Joe Zawaly at 803 Forest Street, Fleetwood, PA 19522-1021 by May 1st. If you have any questions on the day, contact Steve Hahn by email stephenchahn@yahoo.com or phone 610-779-8477.
